Scorpion Solitaire Help

This version of Scorpion Solitaire offers three levels of difficulty.

Layout

Scorpion Solitaire uses a single deck of 52 cards. 7 cards are dealt to each of the 7 columns. The first 3 cards in each of the first 4 columns are dealt face down and the rest are exposed. (except if you choose "Easy" level, where only the first 2 cards in the first 4 columns are dealt face down). The remaining 3 cards in the deck are kept face down in a stock to play when you are stuck.

Object

The object of the game is to build each suit in decending sequence from King to Ace within the tableau columns. (You do not build directly on the foundations - similar to Scorpion.) When such a sequence has been formed, it is automatically removed to it's foundation. When all 52 cards have been played to the foundations then the game is won.

Rules

Any card at the bottom of a tableau column is exposed for play. You can move any sequence of cards from another column to it where the exposed card is of the same suit as the moved card and is a rank above. For example you can move the 5 of Hearts onto the 6 of Hearts. Any cards below the 5 of Hearts will be moved with it to the other column.

If a card that is face down in a column is open it will be turned over.

You can only move a King (and any cards below it) an empty column. However, if you select "Easy" or "Medium" in the game level, you can move any card to an empty column - makes the game much easier to solve.

You can deal the remaining 3 cards from the stock, one to each of the first 3 columns at your discretion.
